1. Lal Chowk, Srinagar – The Heart of Kashmiri Shopping


Why Visit? Bustling with shops selling Kashmiri handicrafts, carpets, embroidered shawls, and Pashmina wool.

3. Floating Market, Dal Lake – A Market on Water



Why Visit? The only floating market in India, where traders sell fresh vegetables, flowers, and handicrafts from their shikaras (wooden boats).
Best Time to Visit: Early morning (5:00 AM – 7:00 AM) for the most vibrant market scenes.
Must-Try Nearby: Bakarkhani (a traditional Kashmiri bread) with Noon Chai (salted pink tea).

 

4. Lethpura,Pulwama - Dry fruits 



Why Visit? Best place to stock up on dry fruits, saffron, and Kashmiri spices like cardamom and cloves.
What to Buy? Almonds, walnuts, honey, and pure Kashmiri saffron.
Must-Try Nearby: A bowl of Gushtaba (mutton dumplings in yogurt gravy).

This place is famous for Saffron cultivation and you will find many shops there to shop from.
